Associate Brand Manager

Mark Anthony Brewing


  • Support the day-to-day management of the MABI portfolio of brands
  • Analyze and understand business/brand performance and the competitive landscape
  • Work with Mark Anthony Brewing to deliver products to the market on-time
  • Interpret various data sources to develop compelling sell-in stories for retailers and wholesalers
  • Work with Shopper Marketing to develop retail tools including point-of-sale, programs and coupons
  • Work with media agency to execute media plans
  • Special projects including brand health, pricing, and marketing mix analyses


  • Work with Mark Anthony International Brands to manage packaging and innovation development
  • Develop accurate forecasts of the brands and SKUs
  • Maintain close connection with sales to ensure that brand strategies are executed with excellence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with compliance and finance teams to enable swift execution and approval of marketing initiatives
  • Manage new and discontinued SKUs
  • Recommend annual volume and distribution plans


  • Develop monthly executive dashboard and Marketing Town Hall presentations
  • Provide input and support for the Quarterly Business Review meetings
  • Ad-Hoc Data Pulls


  • Support the brand marketing budget tracking and reporting
  • Support multiple agency relationships

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of consumer packaged goods experience (sales experience is a bonus)
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a consumer orientation and experience in the CPG industry; Beverage Alcohol experience a bonus including understanding of the three-tier system
  • Pragmatic individual with financial analysis abilities; able to synthesize data into key recommendations and action plans
  • BA in Business/Marketing or a related field, graduate degree preferred
  • Experience using IRI and/or Nielsen a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as excellent presentation abilities
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Strong, confident personality – able to present to company president and Sales General Managers
  • Ability to simplify complex situations
  • Creative thinker with the ability to deliver “out of the box” solutions
