This position will be working downtown Chicago, parts of South and West Suburbs. You would be required to be in your territory daily.
Short Fuse Brewing Company is looking for Outside Sales Reps to work on establishing new retail accounts and increasing our self-distribution foot print. This position would work 100% in the field doing outside sales establishing and maintaining retail accounts for our beer. Cold calling on restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and hotels is required. We are passionate about our beer and you should be too. Experience in liquor/beer sales is preferred. This position would be require to work territory in the North, Northwest Suburbs.
- Represent our brands in the market to increase distribution
- Maintain regular communications with team members in all functional areas
- Integral in the process of selecting and signing new retail accounts
- Assist with coordination of events in territory
- Assist in preparation for monthly sales and marketing meetings
- Assist in performing market research for respective territory
- At least 2 years of territory sales management experience; ideally in the beverage industry
- Proven profitable sales record where targets are met or exceeded
- Familiarity with the brewing industry and beer distribution channels
- Passion for beer
- Outgoing personality
- Work well independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
