Virtue Cider, makers of proper farmhouse cider from Southwest Michigan’s Cider Coast, seeks to add a Content Coordinator to its growing marketing team. The Content Coordinator is responsible for gathering, curating, and posting photos and video assets to various Virtue Cider outlets including the website, social media accounts, and various internal and external materials. The ideal Content Coordinator will have a keen eye for what makes good content, a passion for storytelling, an unsinkable creative drive, and a never-settles-for-less-than-the-best attitude. While based in the company’s Chicago office for administration work, this position will spend much of their time in the field gathering content, by attending events in the markets served by Virtue, and at the Fennville, MI, farm and cider house. This Position reports to the Communications Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to scope, prioritize and track deliverables, as well as assist in other content capacities as needed, such as social media and blog posts, marketing materials design, website management, informational copy and print copy
  • Combine creative storytelling skills with the unique voice of Virtue Cider to create and execute brand-right content that resonates, engages and elicits emotion from defined target audience groups
  • Generate content for a wide variety of marketing programs and deliverables, to include collateral, digital, promotions and brand marketing initiatives. Share ideas and collaborate effectively across teams

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • At least 2 years of professional, published experience in photography, video production, within the scope of online spaces, preferably with foodservice, beverage or marketing industry background
  • Bachelor’s degree in the arts, marketing, communications or related field
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to and transport equipment to various locations and events
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills both verbally and written and strong attention to detail
  • Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro required (animation and sound editing a plus)
  • Website design/CMS experience desired
  • Ability work under strict deadlines and in various environments (outdoors, in production facilities, etc.)
  • Creative mind, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and able to take initiative
  • Strong time management, project management skills
  • Experience marketing in the beer, wine, or spirits industries is a plus
