Wild Blossom Meadery, Winery, and Brewery is looking for some new members of our dynamic team to grow with our company. We are Chicago’s first winery and Illinois first Meadery serving award-winning craft beverages. We are leaders in the craft mead market which is the fastest growing alcoholic beverage today. We are seeking friendly, outgoing active servers who want to work at our fast-paced tasting and tap room. Our festivals and special events are fun and exciting to work at. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for craft beverages and loves to make customers feel special while having a great time. Stock and restock appropriate areas of the bar with glassware, alcohol, supplies, and ice
Flexible schedule and availability

Safely and effectively transport drinks to tables
Ability to multitask calmly and effectively under pressure and busy environments
Work in confined/small areas with variable noise and temperature levels.
Ability to move/lift 15lbs
Ability to stand/walk entire shifts (breaks are allowed), some being more than 8 hours
Ability to move through slick areas, uneven surfaces, and stairs
Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary equipment and tools including knives and blenders
Responsible for preparing beverages to guests according to recipe, as well as serving food for guests that dine in the bar and tasting room area. Assist with busser, food runner, and barista responsibilities as directed. A friendly accommodating demeanor, as well as an ability to multi-task, are essential for this position.
Ensure the overall guests experience exceeds their expectations as Mead is a new concept to most individuals
Greet guests with a warm and sincere smile
Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges and respond to guest with patience and courtesy at all times
Possess a sense of urgency
Manually wash and sanitize glassware using a three compartment sink
Account for and maintain the security of the bar stock and inventory
Responsible for the security and reconciliation of the cash drawer
Ability to recognize intoxicated guests, refuse to oversee guests and seek out manager with any concerns about a guest that appears inebriated
Accurately account for and record all items ordered, process payments, and account for and balance all sales receipts in compliance with company policy
Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions pertaining to the menu
Use sales techniques and present and encourage current promotions to guests
Follow all steps of service
Proficiency in POS systems commonly used in the restaurant and wine industries
Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures
Get along with others and be a team player
BASSETT Certificate REQUIRED
